Running for Heroes

Published

on

In less than 12 hours, 10-year-old Zechariah from @runningforheroes will be competing in the Daytona Beach 1/2 Marathon. This amazing kid runs to honor first responders and those from the military who sacrificed their lives to protect us all.

Tomorrow morning he is dedicating mile 4 of his race to Deputy Heath Gumm and mile 6 to Deputy Micah Flick. He will be running selflessly for those who gave there lives to this country, all while running with a thin blue line flag on him.

We can’t wait to cheer you on Zachariah! You are a true inspiration to all of us.

Please check out his page to learn more about his non- profit organization and to donate to his cause, which is to ultimately raise $15,000 for Tunnel2towers

Running for Heroes

Follow Zechariah as he runs 148-Miles to pay tribute to the fallen 148 Police Officers in 2018 while raising funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

As if hundreds of volunteer hours, selfless service to the community in times of crisis and disaster, and ongoing safety education weren’t enough. The RAMPART Search and Rescue team, which has provided search and rescue services for more than 19 years, for Adams, Lincoln and Morgan counties here in Colorado, came together to give a gift to a Local Middle School. We are blessed to have these men and women as a part of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
