If this is inspiring SHARE!!!

When I started at hiitbox, my goal was to lose at least ten pounds. I HATED my body, I was striving for an unrealistic goal and to look like girls who had a completely different body type than I did. I was basically STARVING myself, eating 1200 calories, working out twice a day, and doing lots of cardio. And guess what?! I DIDN’T SEE RESULTS.

Currently, the number on the scale consistently sits at about 8-10 pounds MORE than when I started at hiitbox. Good thing I don’t put any value in that number anymore. I rarely do strict cardio, take hiitclasses 3-4 times a week, strict weight lifting 2-3 times times a week, and have incorporated more yoga into my routine! When I’m in the hiit classes, my focus has shifted from burning calories to challenging myself and lifting heavy shit!!!! I’m more focused on my strength and progressing my lifts. It’s been a complete lifestyle, mindset change and now I look in the mirror every day and I LOVE my body. Not just because of how I look, but because of all that my body does for me! How strong my body is to carry me throughout the day, and push through workouts. I’ve lifted heavier than I ever thought I would be able to, and have tried lifts and movements I never would have tried on my own.

To quote Lauren “this is what heavy lifting looks like”
